About Green Urban Development Initiatives
The initiatives are part of Government efforts to achieve sustainable development together with State of Kuwait’s vision. The initiatives aim at encouraging initiators – individuals and companies – to contribute to the preparation and improvement of public parks in all residential areas and border crossings of the State of Kuwait, in addition to gardening in major roads, rings roads, roundabouts and bridges in strategic locations.

GISCON executes a project for the development of a roundabout in Kuwait at a cost of 200,000 Kuwaiti Dinars.

ZAIN executes a project to develop a long bridge in Kuwait at a cost of 1 million Kuwaiti Dinars.
In November 2020, Zain Company launched a project to develop a long bridge in Kuwait at a cost of 1 million Kuwaiti Dinars. The project included enhancing the bridge’s structure and updating its engineering systems to ensure safety and efficiency in traffic flow. The project also incorporated aesthetic design elements to give the bridge a modern character in line with urban development in Kuwait. The development work was completed in December 2020, making the bridge an integral part of Kuwait’s transportation network and enhancing accessibility between vital areas.
