About Green Urban Development Initiatives
The initiatives are part of Government efforts to achieve sustainable development together with State of Kuwait’s vision. The initiatives aim at encouraging initiators – individuals and companies – to contribute to the preparation and improvement of public parks in all residential areas and border crossings of the State of Kuwait, in addition to gardening in major roads, rings roads, roundabouts and bridges in strategic locations.

The Green Urban Development Initiatives Committee has many members, working together to assess the initiatives regarding green urban development and gardening, which are submitted by the private sector’s institutions and initiators.

GISCON executes a project for the development of a roundabout in Kuwait at a cost of 200,000 Kuwaiti Dinars.
ZAIN executes a project to develop a long bridge in Kuwait at a cost of 1 million Kuwaiti Dinars.
